SUPPORT VEHICLES/TRAILERS

THERE ARE NO SUPPORT OR TOW VEHICLES INSIDE THIS EVENT! NO EXCEPTIONS.

We have a dedicated zone OUTSIDE the venue for you to park.

This is to ensure maximum space available for entrants and spectators alike. Please follow our teams directions when it comes to unloading parts/tyres and park any tow vehicles and trailers where directed.

All essential items are to be dropped off then any non-entered vehicles are to be removed. Please organise yourself before the event to ensure there's no issues on the day.

SECOND DRIVERS

Got a mate that wants to share the driving experience at Highlands?
Second Driver wristbands will be available over the day for $100 + GA entry.
Please head to Drivers Briefing on the day to complete this. No pre-registration required.

SPECTATORS

ALL SPECTATORS ARRIVING WITH YOU MUST PRE-PURCHASE THEIR GA TICKETS!

This is to help speed up the flow at the gate. If you're a registered entrant and your passengers have not pre-purchased their GA tickets, they will be required to leave your vehicle and wait in the spectator queue.

FAQ

The easiest way to enter is online through our website. Click on the Enter Online Menu, or click the Enter Online button at the top of this page. If it's not showing, then entries aren't open. Entries generally close 5 days before the event unless sold out prior.

Make sure you fill out all the forms correctly and use your name that's shown on your drivers licence. Get in quick while the first release tickets are still available for the cheapest rates.

IMPORTANT ENTRANT INFO:

Gate 2 where you will be heading through is a PUBLIC ROAD! Please keep noise to a minimum when entering the venue.

DO NOT BLOCK THE ROAD WHEN UNLOADING/PARKING!

FUNERALS:

One of the unique things about Highlands Motorsport Park is the proximity to Cromwell Cemetery, located across the road. One of the conditions of the venue consent is in the rare occasion when a Funeral occurs on an event day, the track needs to close for approximately 2 hours.

The likelihood of this is very rare, a funeral has only occurred once or twice during an event day in the past 12 years. If this does happen on our event day, it may cause a little interruption to your track time, however we do have a back up plan to ensure we can still have some features during those times, such as a parade, and extend the track time if possible.

Please understand this as it is out of our control. No refunds will be made in the unlikely chance this does happens.

REFUELLING INFO

Image

What personal protective equipment (PPE) do I have to provide?

  • Fire resistant overalls or clothing made from non-flammable material (eg wool, cotton) for marshals in charge of the fire extinguishers in pit lane and the service crew members involved in refuelling.
  • Gloves to prevent fuel from coming into contact with the skin.
  • Boots or closed-toe shoes with chemical resistant soles to protect feet in case of a spill.
  • Balaclavas or helmets to reduce exposure to fuel vapours
  • Safety goggles or full face helmet.

How can I refuel during racing safely?

  • Only refuel in the vehicle’s pit area, not in pit lane.
  • Entrants and crew members shouldn’t carry out any work on the vehicle until refuelling is completed.
  • Always have at least two crew members who are doing the refuelling. One of these two members should be holding the fire extinguisher, and not be involved in any other activity.
  • All crew involved in the refuelling, and any crew working on the quarter of the car where the refuel is occurring should wear PPE
  • Don’t refuel in the competition safety gear to prevent contamination and exposure to vapours.
  • Clean up any fuel spills immediately, if it’s safe to do so.
