Media credentials will be issued ONLY to recognised or approved personal representing verified websites, social media, news services, blog websites, publications, newspapers, television networks, and other approved media outlets.
  • Due to insurance reasons, media credentials are very limited and available only to approved applicants.
  • All other types of motorsport or advertising media accreditation is deemed void during all and any Premier Events owned and/or operated events.

To: Premier Events and: its parent, subsidiary and affiliate companies (including the land owner) and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and volunteers (collectively the "Released Parties").

Releasing Parties: Means and includes the undersigned as well as the undersigned’s spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs, next of kin, and any legal or personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors, assigns, or anyone else who might claim or sue on the undersigned’s behalf.

Event: Means any activities or services at the event selected above which are organised or conducted by Premier Events or are permitted or approved by Premier Events or otherwise under the responsibility/control of Premier Events.

Venue: Means any venue selected above which plays host to the Event you are applying for.


Media Consent & Indemnity Declaration

I, the undersigned, agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions in favour, and for the benefit of, the Released Parties:

  1. I certify that:
    (a) I am at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of the event.
    (b) I will not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances that would in any way impair my ability at the time of the event.
  2. I agree to familiarise myself with and to comply with all warnings and the Occupational, Safety and Health Regulations provided or made available to me by Premier Events or its employees, representatives and agents during the Event, including but not limited to the wearing Hi-Viz at all times which I must supply myself.
  3. I agree to comply with all instructions/directions given by Premier Events or its employees, representatives/agents during the Event.
  4. I will not enter the Venue Circuit without first obtaining the Premier Events Media Liaison or Track Staff’s permission.
  5. I agree to exercise all due care whilst attending or participating in the Event.
  6. I acknowledge that Touting for business at any event hosted by Premier Events is strictly prohibited. This includes Selling, Advertising, Marketing etc.
  7. I understand and agree that I am expected to exhibit appropriate behaviour and to obey all local, civil and criminal laws at all times while participating in or attending the Event. I further understand and agree that Premier Events, the Venue, or its employees, representatives and agents can dismiss me, should my behaviour endanger the safety of or negatively affect the Event, another person, facility or property of any kind, or if I otherwise breach any of the terms in this indemnity form.
  8. I acknowledge that motor racing and motor sport activities are inherently dangerous and there is significant risk of injury, disability or death by attending or participating in the Event. I am aware that if I do not wish to be exposed to such risks, then I should not attend or participate in the Event.
  9. I agree to attend or participate in the Event at my own risk. I further agree that to the fullest extent permitted by law I will not hold any of the Released Parties responsible for any damage, injury or death caused by mechanical failure or otherwise of any vehicle supplied by those parties, whether directly or indirectly, or due to the state of the Venue.
  10. I understand and agree that in consideration of me granting permission to attend or participate in the Event and to use the venue, I warrant all of the above and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless and keep indemnified each of the Released Parties from and against all actions, claims, liabilities, costs, expenses and demands in respect of my death, physical or mental injury, loss or damage to person or property howsoever caused, arising out of my attendance or participation in the Event, including claims by third parties, and notwithstanding that such claims may have been caused or contributed to by the fault or negligence of any of the Released Parties.
  11. In exchange for being granted Media Accreditation to attend, photograph, film, or cover the event, I agree to report on the event using and only using the correct event name
  12. I agree provide a minimum of 100 high resolution (min 4 mb each), digital images without watermarks, of the event to Premier Events free of charge and license to use the images in future event promotions. If you are filming, you can send through a small selection of video clips instead. These must be supplied within 14 days of the event. If it is not done, access to future events hosted by Premier Events may be declined. Images can be sent via Google Drive, Drop Box or similar to kaz@premierevents.co.nz. 
  13. The above provisions confer a benefit on, and are intended to be enforceable by, each of the Released Parties (in accordance with the Contracts (Privity) Act 1982. Further, if any of the above provisions are unenforceable, illegal or void then they are severable and the rest of this document will remain in force.
  14. I agree by submitting this form to having read and understood the contents of this Media Accreditation and by breaching any of the above conditions that Premier Events reserves the right to take legal action to protect their rights, branding and the rights of their sponsors.

FOR EVENTS HELD AT NAPA AUTO PARTS DRAGWAY, MEREMERE:
Meremere Dragway Media Consent & Indemnity Declaration

I certify the below information provided is true and correct, and that by completing and submitting this application form, I accept the terms and conditions of issue of NAPA Auto Parts Dragway and Meremere Dragway Inc. Media Accreditation.

Media Event Waiver details:

  1. My accepted entry into the Meeting and Events at NAPA Auto Parts Dragway Meremere will not be transferred to another entrant.
  2. I am in an appropriate physical condition to participate in the Event, given the known parameters of the Event (such as the length, time, physical demands and environmental context).
  3. I have taken medical advice on any pre-existing medical conditions, and confirm that it is medically safe for me to participate in the Event.
  4. I acknowledge that there are risks involved in the Event. I fully realise the dangers of participating in the Event in above mentioned capacity, and fully assume the risks associated with my participation and my wellbeing and safety during and after the Event. I understand and acknowledge that the Event organisers (including all officials and event volunteers) provide no warranties, regarding my wellbeing and safety.
  5. I understand and agree that situations may arise during the Event, which may be beyond the immediate control of the Event organisers (including all officials, Sponsors and event volunteers).
  6. I will participate in the Event, in a manner that does not endanger either me or others.
  7. I agree that to the extent permissible by law, the Event organisers (including all officials and event volunteers), the Sponsors and other parties associated with the Event, have no liability to me whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, (including, but not limited to injury or death) sustained by me during or in any way related to my participation in the Event.
  8. I authorise the use of my name, voice, picture and information on this entry form in any broadcast, telecast, promotion, advertising, and in any other way, without payment to me or any other form of compensation.
  9. I agree to comply with the rules, and regulations pertaining to the Event.
  10. I agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions provided to me by the Event organisers, (including all officials and event volunteers) before, during and after the Event.
  11. I consent to receiving medical treatment in the event of illness or injuries suffered during or immediately after the Event.
  12. I will not use any photos, videos or recordings, of any kind, for commercial gain or reward without express written authority from the Event organisers
  13. I acknowledge that all photos, videos and recordings remain the property of the event organisers.
  14. All media personnel will supply their own ORANGE hi-vis vest.
  15. I agree provide a minimum of 100 high resolution (min 4 mb each), digital images without watermarks, of the event to Premier Events free of charge and license to use the images in future event promotions. If you are filming, you can send through a small selection of video clips instead. These must be supplied within 14 days of the event. Once we process your Media application, we will reply via email to all applicants (whether you are accepted or declined) one week prior to the event.
